Posted on our forum that attendance was 4798. We sold our 2800 allocation for the east stand and a handful of west stand returns from Dundalk, then if you add in the guests (press, sponsors, FAI heads, Setanta heads, Club officials etc) your looking at a Dundalk attendance of about 1800.

Dundalk had 2000 sold tickets on Thursday so re-boot you calculator and start again.Rovers won,yet it seems that yee want to add somthing else to your win !! Cop on will you !!

Not at all, somebody asked what the attendance was above so I simply posted the figure that was posted on our forum which I believe was taken from the number of tickets that were scanned at the turnstiles. If Rovers had 2750+ in the east stand and another 50 or so in the west, sponsors/press/officials another 150-200 it leaves 1800 or so Dundalk fans unless large numbers didn't get their ticket scanned for some reason??
