Magicme if you actually look back we've had plenty of locals in squads in the past, you may want to brush up on your history! (although in fairness some players didn't actually play that much and it is a fairly recent selection i have here!!)

    Aaron Mc Carey GK
    Jim Murphy RB
    James Hand LB
    Paul Whelan CB
    Ashley White CB
    Paul Shiels CM
    Jonathon Douglas CM
    Paul Smyth LM
Stephen Finnegan RM (almost sure he played a few games)
    Simon Douglas ST
Nicolas Corrigan ST (again, pretty sure he played)

Shedload of Kerry lads passed through Limerick FC aswell, Stephen O'Mahony, the two Conways, James Sugrue, Timmy Lynch, Chris Kerins, Stephen Goggin off the top of my head, we've two more Kerry lads this year. None of em set the world alight but they've all played LoI.

Kerry could possibly claim Denis Behan aswell depending on which end of Abbeyfeale he's from.

its goin to be a very hard job havin a team of local longford lads but I will try my best. I can think already of Zac Hackett and Leo Devlin and Mark Devlin...
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Iarfhlaith's family are from Galway. Not sure where he was born/spent his first few years, but it might well have been Galway.
