There are some clubs we haven't heard from regarding season ticket prices.
Any news from both of the midlands clubs, Wexford, Drogheda, Bohs, U.C.D,
Sporting Fingal, Salthill, Mervue, Monaghan, and Limerick ?

Spingal's prices are keen to say the least. €10.00 is a great price point for a game especially if you are trying to tempt people on a Friday night! Fair dues.
One thing though and this is not a criticism of the club as I think that the pricing is perfectly apt (I mean look at what we charge!), But is a saving of €30.00 over the course of a year enough to entice people to get a season ticket? I suppose this is a problem for a lot of clubs. The higher the price of a match ticket the better value a season ticket becomes and therefore is the likelihood of getting cash up front for the season rather than hoping that a crowd could materialise over the course of a year. Quite a pickle.
With us you save 40/45 for an adult ticket which coupled with a higher price per match makes our season ticket seem better value over the year and means some would be more likely to buy it.
I could be living in Limerick or Galway come next season so I may not be able to...
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Its a saving of €5 per home match and there are more than 6 home games in a season so its a saving of more than €30.
I hope that's not the sort of maths you are using for your budgeting for 2011! :P
According to your website:
So by my reckoning if I was to attend all of your home matches in 2011 and pay in it would cost me €180.00, however if I purchased a season ticket it would cost me €150.00. Thus a season ticket would save me EXACTLY €30.00.The following is the ticket price structure (2011):
Adult: €10
Season Tickets 2011:
Adult: €150
Season Ticket Savings:
Adult Season Ticket represents a saving of €30 over the course of a season, compared to buying an individual match ticket every week.
Now this completely misses the point I was making. A saving of €30.00 over a season does not seem like "good value" in a sense ie. the advantage of being a season ticket holder is not that great and that it essentially means that your match tickets would be TOO keenly priced in my eyes. That is all.
