"Probably the funniest moment at The Cross ever"

    Wasn't it just hilarious?

When the band started playing THE SONG at half time.

To see the entire ground ( D Forde Stand, St Annes end, Derrynane end, The Corner Boys, The Family Enclosure and The Shed ) sing as one and point their finger at the Rovers fans for the chorus ( "Lang£r, Lang£r, in Cork you'd be known as a Lang£r" ).

The Dubs didn't know what to think, or say...............so they just started chanting "Rovers, Rovers" which sounded so pathetic in the scheme of things.

Did you notice the guys with the hand held cameras during the game? I reckon they were making a video for the song - after that it should be a classic. Can't wait to see it.

One of the all time funniest moments at at The Cross

There was 6 of us at the game last night and one of the lads was there for the first time - he's from Kerry, a GAA man, and never at a LoI game before.

There were tears rolling down his face at the half time entertainment.

He said he will definately be back and never realised how passionate we were about the wole thing.

    Still laughing at it.

I was cringing at the start to be honest as I thought it was going to be pure embarrassing but when the crowd joined in and everything I change my mind. It was a brilliant moment and really go the crowd wound up (in more ways than one! )

What was going through the teams minds in the dressing room at HT?
Definitely a gem - hopefully it'll be shown on TV at some stage.

That was 'me dazza' alright lads.

That song is yet another reason why the word l anger should be taken off the banned list on this site and citynet. Any administrators watching take head
I'm gonna take a blow torch to everyone who writes "any info on......." on the desks in the ucc library.

Nice picture on the front page of the Echo of the Shed singing the ****** song and pointing at the Rovers fans.
