Galway United moved up to fifth in the
eircom League First Division table
following a superb 3-1 away win over
Dundalk at Oriel Park tonight.
Following a quite first hour, the game
sprung to life when Paul Marney netted
for the home side on 64 minutes.
Colin Fortune then put the Tribsemen
back on level terms a minute later.
An entertaining draw looked to be on
the cards as the game wound down but
Galway dramatically changed the script.
Firstly David Goldbey put them in front
on 83 minutes before John Russell made
sure of the points in injury time.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
