    Far Flung city fans

Are there any city fans residing ouside of Ireland.

last time going to a city league game i saw a car with a cork city car sticker on it but the odd thing was the car had a Polish registration number on it!

Unfortunately with the car stickers that were given out at the last game we cant put them on our car Living in waterford it would be an invitation for someone to break a wing mirror or something.

At my better halfs workplace a lot of cars have been damaged for having team stickers other than waterfords on them. most of them are gaa stickers mind you.

The amount of looks, questions and sniggers are unbelievable.

Was in Portugal last week on holidays.

Brought the kids to "ZooMarine" ( kinda like a marine type of Fota - but just bigger, better and with much more people milling around ).

Had my City jersey on me as we mingled amongst all these Portugese, Spanish, English, Germans etc, etc. The kids inevitably drifted into the one area that had slot machines and video games ( as only Cork kids would ). As I was dragging them out I saw another guy wrestling his kids out also, when, seeing the shirt, turned to me and said ......
........"massive win against Bohs last Saturday night, wasn't it?"

I said "Yeah, brilliant and more to come against Dublin City". We both just laughed and went our seperate ways.

    That was it.

'Twas like we just bumped into one another in Panna.

Started missing The Cross right there and then.

Luxembourg here, a different cork city top for every day if I could get away with it but work might object.

Always gets questioned, the french love the whole local football thing so they are alwas asking.
    It's only just begun...............

    Australia

Just came back from Australia on Sunday. Saw loads of city jersys during the year. Mostly Irish backpackers that will be back at some stage, not residents. Lots of GAA jerseys too.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I'm in San Jose. Wear the City jersey around the place, but the locals probably think I'm a mexican. The PRC t-shirt gets a better response.
