Seems to be mixed reactions about Bian McCarthy. Longford fans say he was great with them a few seasons ago and nearly got player of the year but too slow for fullback. Athlone fans said he is alright but very error prone and gets caught out of position a lot. Didn't play that much for them last season.

A quick google says Paudie Quinn isn't long back from Fulham and is a midfelder/striker??

And Brian Murphy appears to be a striker who has scored a few.

    Both youngfellas

Paudie Quinn looks like he could be promising. Semmed to be in Fulhams under 18 and youth teams from looking him up online. Must have done something right to head over from lisselton on a 12 month scholarship it seems. Capped at u17 level also.

The team looks very young at the moment. Hopefully Scully is trying to secure as many of the younger promising lads before the PFAI list is released. Then hopefully he can go looking for more experienced players at LOI level.

Paudie and Brian are both from Listowel and have played most of their football with Listowel Celtic. Both capped underage for Ireland. Paudie is a skilful midfielder who spent over a year at fulham but things didnt work out and came home to play A champioship with T dynamos. Brian is a pacy striker who signed for Dynamos from Listowel earlier this year

Scully wants youngfellas who are a but nuts are are not afraid to put it about a bit.......Jeff Judge is a big favourite regarding this.

Some quality players on that list. Very surprised to see Kearney from Waterford there, and he would be a good addition to our team.

Id say Kearney has agreed to sign for Cork already.

Like last year a lot of them players will end up staying where they are..

Some good players on it though and a few that have worked with Scully before.

Me too to be honest. He was given permission to talk to Cork weeks ago but obviously not jumping at a return to the X!
I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.

If he hasn't come to terms with Cork yet he would definitely be a good signing. We need a good winger like him. Was suprised he didn't stay on with Waterford.

It's been very quiet the last few days on here. Any rumours about any players interesting Limerick from the PFAI list?

I see it was updated yesterday with Jason Hughes added to it. Thought he was in Scullys plans for this season and thats why he was loaned out and not released. Good to see he wants to continue to play at LOI level though.

Brian Gartland or Philip Hughes would be good signings also. Anto Flood is looking to get back playing LOI but he should be picked up by a premier team. Declan O Brien up there as well. Ger Hanley from Mervue has looked a very decent keeper anytime I've seen him play and is called up to the Ireland U18 team. I think he is on trial over in Scotland though.

Any body any other thoughts on players they'd like to see come in or who could come in?

a player would put himself on the PFAI list and would have nothing to do with their clubs. Most players would have been made offers which im sure is true of JH but they like to see are the're better offers out there so put the word out....on the PFAI website

Welcome back Garry i swear it was the other Garry Sheehan we were slagging last year :P

Tracy signed back too is good news if he gets his form back looked like he was carrying some sort of injury most of last year.
