O sweet jesus. As if the league isn't already up against it and now this kind of crap. I hope the idea crashes and burns but sadly it probably won't.

I actually don't care too much about people supporting English clubs but that is just embarrassing.

    A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.

No probs if they supported LOI tbh but of course RTE have also played along with United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton managers in the background!

I sadly followed RTE Sport on Twitter and it's really disturbed me. I shouldn't be surprised but talk about loved up over the Premiership. Des Cahill on the sport in the morning creams himself over cross channel football too. All very sad.

I bet they all had a great day out.

The 2 lads in the Newcastle jersey were from Newcastle. I quite enjoyed it, one Arsenal fan forgot who they had played the day before and the City fan said if you just take United out of the league City would have won it, at least they know their stuff.
    Here on a technicality.

I'd forgotten all about the football shirt scene in Night of the Living Dead.

    The state of them.

Listening to Newstalk earlier about Ferguson retiring. Orla from Carlow says "he owes us nothing". True, Orla, very true.

Somebody must know one or two of them. Chuck Des Cahill in there with Bill O Heirlihy and you'll have a full house. I think you could chuck Con Murphy and Peter Collin's in there too. I know Con goes to Tallaght Stadium (where he was captured in a death defying yawn) but I couldn't help thinking he was always so drawn to cross channel football and referred to 'City' or 'United' in relation to every conversation. I may be wrong and could be unkind to Con but it was generally what I heard. Collins is exactly the same and I always think if he had a choice on covering LoI or cross channel football he, and Con,would probably choose the latter.

I propose Des Cahill though as President of the Association of Barstoolers. Anyone want to second it?

Sorry Moose, but such an important position requires the best - step forward John 'Man yoo' Delaney, president of assosiation of barstoolers (IRL).*

Wash your mouth out. There is never a good reason to wear a so-called "dress shirt". Never.

I'd forgive the deluded lovers of corporate sport quicker.
