We already have a royal couple thanks. They're called Brian and Amy ...and if you ever doubt it TV3 & the Mail'n'Sindo won't be long putting you straight.

Great, a Conservative government and a royal wedding.

The Daily Mail will be wetting themselves.

He's a lucky boy, marrying a pretty good lucking woman and it'll inevitably be a really expensive do - more importantly, the rest of Britain gets to pick up the bill and not them!!

Well I saw estimates of the wedding being worth £750 million to the UK economy. Foot.ie-ers you now know what you must do, go marry a princess to give a real boost to our economy. It's your patriotic duty.

Someone should offer them Drumoland Castle or somewhere as the wedding venue. It's still cool to get married here isn't it? Recession over in an instant.

I wonder what first attracted her to the multi-millionaire future King?

Good to see feudalism still in action, it almost makes our political 'system' looks sophisticated by comparison!

What, useless leaders without any real qualifications kept in power because of vague half-forgotten things their predecessors did years ago, despite they themselves contributing next to nothing to the effective running of the country? I'd trade them their Royal Family for Fianna Fáil any day!

    she's a little ride.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Ironically... we had that Royal Family til Fianna Fáil came along.

I prefer the idea of people being born into power over having to lie to my face to get me to vote them into power to be honest.

Mad that her mum's an air hostess and her dad runs a (quite successful, admittedly) business. Unprecedently common by royal standards. Can only imagine the looks on their faces when she brought the boyfriend home for the first time.
