Both Sammon & Rooney getting praise from commentators on BBC Radio scotland tonight.
seriously lads, getting way off topic here. Can we leave the political/historical stuff for other threads (ones that i can easily ignore!)?
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

How much is this guy really worth? Reading this thread it seems as if people think he's worth somewhere between 400k and 4 million pounds.
Probably closer to 400k, but credit where it's due. Radio Scotland says that he was played wide for the most part last season but now he's playing centrally he's revelling in it.
In that case, no-one's saying he's worth 4m. It was sarcasm.
He has today been linked with a move to Celtic as I predicted in today's sun newspaper 400k the figure been touted , if he plays another 2 games he is entitled to another year on his contract but his club are reportedly keen to give him a longer contract but they are a bit short on cash they reckon and the offer might be too much to turn down that's the article in a nutshell
With Kenny Miller looking set to leave the SPL this week, Sammon will now be the top scorer in the SPL, one of three players in the top 10. He has come a long way since his days of missing chances for UCD, hopefully things continue to get better for him!

Just revealed moments ago on sky sports news that Connor Sammon looks set for a move to English Championship Side Scunthorpe
BetweenTheStripes.net - Home of Between the Stripes LOI podcast.
Could be a good move, as a stepping-stone, though not exactly high-profile. And Scunny will undoubtedly get relegated.
Article in today's Indo in relation to his poosible move to Scunthorpe. In my opinion, he would be better waiting until the summer and try getting a move to Sheffiled Utd rather than play in Division one next year.
