    Dundalk v. UCD postponed

According to Aertel, we've asked for the game to be postponed as we have three players away on "international" duty. There's six games affected altogether. So the bus won't be going to Dundalk quite yet... Next stop Athlone...

    Dundalk V UCD Postponed

As I know from FAI rules , once a club team has 2 or more players on international duty, they can seek a postponement of the League fixture affected. It applies at all levels of the game from Schoolboy International players to Womens and Mens Senior teams. We are perfectly within our rights to get the game off. Just thought I would make that point in case any of our hosts fans are reading this thread.

Good news, it would be ridiculous for us to have three first team players missing from a league game because of this fairly pointless tournament.

When is the game going to be replayed does anyone know? Its a fairly pointless tournament I have to say. The Welsh League is muck, The Conference team wont be up to much and what the hell my local team could beat a team from the Highland League. Havin an Eircom League team with these rubbish leagues just puts us down or does it just show the standard of the league, are we really worse than 3rd division Scotland?

    Foot.ie! Away game to Dundalk

Has this game been re-fixed? I heard Monday the 28th June mentioned but I've not seen anything confirmed.

All I've heard was that it would be a midweek in June.
