Have to confess too that for a while there in the late 1980s and early 1990s I took some pleasure in attending UCD games in Belfield Park, especially when the exotic Hungarian contingent were playing.

And I look out for the results from Bohs, Wexford Youths and UCD.

I can't bring myself to read a full article of his tripe but, yeah, I wouldn't want him associating himself with my club.

I remember he did a couple of bits for the old UCD SUN (Student Union News) as did Thornley. Found some copies of it in the University Observer archives. Still, I feel dirty.
