Blues look to Cup

Waterford United manager Alan Reynolds believes that his side will be eager to progress in the League Cup with the Blues needing a win against Limerick at Pike Rovers on Tuesday night.

Waterford could only manage a draw with First Division side Kilkenny City last week and they now must the division’s bottom side Limerick with a win needed to have any chance of progressing in the competition.

United have made an impressive start to the league campaign and played out a scoreless draw with form side Drogheda United at United Park over the weekend.

Reynolds admitted that he will give a number of the fringe players a run out as a couple of the first team including himself are carrying knocks ahead of Friday’s clash with Bohemians.

"We will be going for the win," Reynolds told the club’s official site. "The game against Kilkenny was disappointing but the conditions were very difficult and good football was impossible. We are still in with a major chance of qualifying and I would like the club to do well in this competition."

P.S. Do they have access to a league table?
