It's Bolger. http://www.independent.ie/sport/socc...m-2461089.html Sounds very preliminary so far.
Two potentially good stories there from our point of view. I'd imagine it's Killer, in which case money and another concrete example of how playing at UCD can benefit a player. And if Fingal are looking for investment, they're in trouble (just reading the LoI speak really) and may be in and around our level next year. So given Galway and Bohs appear buggered and the league is expanding from next season, it looks like we should be safe from relegation next year. Very early days though!

Interesting. So we've offered both Bolger and Killer contracts for next year to try get transfer fees? And if he goes to Dundalk, we'll still be looking for a fee? That's assuming McDonnell is right about getting compo!
According to Dan, the club reckon there'll be a fee anyway. http://twitter.com/#!/McDonnellDan/s...37855759106050

Super.
Wouldn't have thought Greg was Premiership material though!
Also - me being me - is there any link to the stuff about Fingal?
Had a browse of the paper down the bank and didn't see anything. Saw the other two Dan McD articles (the one above and one on how screwed Bohs are). False advertising!
Maybe he mixed up Bohs and Fingal. Easy to do in some ways.

Could have gotten cut too. Want to drop another tweet? Ye two seem to be getting on like a house on fire.
I know it's what we're used to at UCD but losing Boyle, Evan, Bolger and Killer losing a lot of quality in one go. That's the whole spine of the team. Kilduff performs more of a function that just a goal scorer. Without knowing who is coming through it's always difficult to know how we'll do but I'm a bit worried at the moment.
I'd love to see Bolger go to Blackpool, it would be very interesting to see if a former College player could make an impact in the Premiership. Though I'd loath to see Kilduff at Rovers it would be amusing to see a player we picked up off them for free have to be signed back for a handsome price.
It's far from ideal alright - though it was flagged a while back - but Galway are as bad as us in the "losing players" stakes, and Bohs and maybe even Fingal will join us.
Bolger at Blackpool would be interesting if he got a contract and they went down; would they shed a few players and maybe give him a chance? Also another road trip.
Did Shorty ever move to Pat's officially? This thread has him down as having done so: http://foot.ie/threads/143293-League...Transfers-2011
He did, yeah. Was announced on their site (and he changed his facebook picture to him in his Pat's tracksuit...)
On the Pat's forum that Dave McMillan is the latest they're expecting to confirm shortly.
Was he your captain last year or was that Evan? Centre half?
Evan was; the centre half.
Wardy joins Dundalk; Dwayne to Waterford. Greg and Killer close to moves to Fingal and Rovers for fees. Dave Mc rumoured to be signing for Pat's this month. So who's left at this stage?!
Keepers - Ger, McGinley, Jack Kelly
Defenders - Harding, Leahy, Nangle, Mick Kelly (if he doesn't go to Oz), Tomás Boyle, Seán Russell
Midfielders - Corry, Creevy, Morrison, Danny Fallon, Rochey
Forwards - Rusky
Hmmm...
Thomas Boyle is in The US at a college there. Rochey was in the US also trying out for some teams before Christmas. Rusky is talking to anyone that will listen to him.
There is also Robbie Benson, Tom o Hallron, Stephen Doyle, David o Connor, Paul o'Connor. I think that is about it, pre-season is back on Monday.
