    Twitter

Yes, I know, worst thing in creation, full of people talking about washing the cat, etc, etc

Anyway I launched a new site yesterday, it's more of a proof of concept (i.e. does this actually work) than anything else at the moment

If you're on twitter (and I know some of you are), there's an option called "retweeting" where you send a message you received from someone to all of your followers, similar enough to a chain message in email, only in this case you can track the progress of the message (or "tweet" as they are called).

Bearing this in mind, I set out to see if I could plot the progress of a tweet as it passed between users on a graph.

Turns out, I can, and did and now so can you - http://retweetgraph.appspot.com/

Unfortunately you can only create a graph if you have an account with twitter, but anyone can view the gallery of created graphs

That's pretty cool tets. I was going to forward it on to the developer of TweetRush, but when I tried following you I found I was blocked. So screw you.

ummm, yeah. Sorry about that. Unblocked.
Actually, if you do sent it on to the developer, I have an account for the site itself here - http://twitter.com/#!/retweetgraph - that I'm using to keep track of it instead of my own personal account, can you send that instead?

    i beg to differ...

Dutch stars Rafael Van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder have been trading insults on social networking site Twitter ahead of Tuesday's Champions League game between Tottenham and Inter Milan. Tottenham midfielder Van der Vaart tweeted: "Oi...Wesley! Your defence is like a piece of our Dutch cheese - it's full of holes." And his Inter counterpart replied: "Oi...Rafael! Good news: I have found you a decent keeper - just go to eBay."
how you shay "too funny", yesh?
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Looks like a cool app tetsujin, will check it out.

Oh and it makes it a whole lot easier to follow people on twitter when people use the same username across internetland. Someone forget to tell this girl though: http://twitter.com/holidaysong

Apparently she's now protecting her tweets, which is a shame.

Cheers, it's still very much a work in progress. I use the site twitter account - http://twitter.com/#!/retweetgraph - as a development blog so keep an eye on that for any updates
