McGeough interviewed for Dundalk post

Former Waterford United manager Jimmy McGeough has impressed the Dundalk board in the course of an interview for the vacant manager’s position at the Oriel Park club – but his salary demands could price him out of the market.
McGeough led the Blues to the First Division championship and then, when his side were tipped for a quick return to the second tier, they consolidated their place in the top flight with a tremendous sixth place finish last season, never looking likely to be involved in a relegation dogfight.
