No wonder yee seem to think yee play nice football.
Ye we also found it easier to play nice football when we were no where near the top of the table playing with no pressure or against teams that didnt raise their games against us.
But when it comes down to the nice pretty football and people saying nice things about us or winning the league, winning the league still gives me a warmer happier feeling.

I think you'll tend to find that in this League, embracing financial suicide wins Leagues.....
Sligo had to put in a good run of form to fend off Fingal and Pat's for third. They have also won the League Cup this season. Both know how to win trophies. I'd like to see Sligo win but with the suspensions, Shamrock will probably shade it.
Sligo didn't invent the sideways pass, and Shams don't eat live babies on the field. The truth is actually somewhere in between. God forbid people would let that fact ruin a perfectly good bit of mudslinging though
Sligo Rovers have sold their initial allocation of 8,200. Fans are now being asked to purchase their tickets off ticketmaster as the FAI aren't giving us any more. Most likely you'll have a couple of thousand Sligo Fans in the upper stand above the Shams (lower) ones; thats where people in sligo are now being referred to in ticketmaster. - Bit annoying as I'd love all Sligo fans to be in together!
A third of games spent getting draws playing football will win cups, it will not win leagues. You can win a cup having never won a game over 90 minutes, you can't in the league.

Ticketmaster shouldn't be the only outlet left for tickets. Fans should be able to get for face value in Sligo and not incur the handling fee ticketmaster will charge.
