I plan on going to this. Where are Sligo fans sitting? Coz I'd rather watch it from the moon that sit/stand with Shams.

Yep, I'd be the same as De Town... BTW, I suppose there will be a special train running from Sligo and back for the game? Is there? Any chance it would stop in Longford???

Keen2win/Town: I was told if you buy your tickets anywhere else but Sligo you'll end up in the Shams end. Keen2win: There's a supporters bus that I'm sure would stop for you somewhere on the N4. Martinho's getting it I think.

Are the Longford fans adopting a Rovers player for the day like we did in the '07 final with the Wex? I suggest Jim Lauchlan.

Damn, I'm gonna try and get a few people going, what stand are Sligo in?

They'll open the higher tiers when the lower tier (singing section) sells out behind the goal.

edit: We're in the South and West stand Keen, I think.

Thats where you want to be, everyone I know is getting in the South Stand.
The sheer amount of day trippers in the west stand would drive me mental.

Will they be selling tickets on the gate? I'm not too keen on paying the booking fee to ticketmaster either.

Are they selling tickets in the FAI on Westmoreland Street?

it's more likely to be 5-1.

    Couldn't be - it'd be a fairly restricted view

Over half of our allocation has been sold already (6 of 11 blocks of the ground sold out), and that's before a big push to fairweather Hoops/neutral Dublin fans.

As a matter of interest, how big was your allocation?

Rovers have sold about 7,500 tickets so far and thats a conservative estimate.
    Tickets going on ticketmaster(spit!) tomorrow.
Rovers will sell a load of tickets on Friday at Derek Treacy's testimonial as well i'd wager.
It will also give Rovers fans a chance to wave hankies at pinocchio byrne!
