Naturally your pithy assessment of Michael Hector should be accepted without question over the opinions of Reading manager Brian McDermott (who just gave him a new contract), Ian Foster (who has selected him ahead of the experienced Shane Guthrie and had agreed an extended lloan deal with Readinig) and Dundalk fans (who voted him player of the month for April)
Hector is an 18 year old who is not afraid to play football as opposed to normal centre half hoofball. Although prone to some lapes of concentration this is a guy with a great future ahead of him. After a dodgy start he has shown what an excellent footballer he is and has done really well so far at Dundalk.
