McClean definitely won't be featuring on Wednesday now. He's just pulled out of the NI squad and has told Worthington he wants to focus on playing for Ireland.
Not again! This is getting beyond a joke now. Surely all those that have come from the north to declare for the south can't make the team.
Say nothin til ya hear more!

Worthinton and his friends in the IFA are realy not doing themselves any favours with their "our wee country" approach to the matter.
By the way, did Alan Mannus get into the last NI squad after he left the Shams??
Almost certain he was called up days after tying up his transfer to St Johnstone. Actually heres confirmation: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14436621.stm
Bare faced dickishness from Worthington having dropped him when he left Linfield for Rovers, and then picking him again as soon as he left. I'm glad McClean has no desire to play for that set up.
It'll be fun now trying to get international clearance from the IFA in future. They're already bad enough.
Given the source I'd be inclined to take this with a, generous, pinch of salt, but the reported value seems to have increase somewhat.

Course this could be the thing they do were they claim the value of the deal with all future add-ons included.
I only hope there isn't extra money due depending on international appearances.
Rumour doing the rounds in Dundalk tonight is that Cian Hughton is signing for us.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cian_Hughton
And that has worked out fantastically well for us. Fozzie cleared the deal with the board, Hughton flew in, met the lads after training thursday only for Fozzie to be told that Gerry Matthews was refusing to ok the deal so Fozzie had to drive him back to the airport to head back across the water! Amateur hour. Fozzie said that the deal would have still kept him under the budget with some room to spare for possibly one more but it seems the budgets been reduced after both Fozzie and the fans being told it would stay the same.

Now Gerry Matthews will always be held in the highest regard for what he's done for the club since he took over but the few times he's got involved in the football side of things has ended in a farce.
Ian Foster, the manager, I assume.

Or:
You decide!
Edit:
Foster and the rest of us were told that the budget would remain the same and the money that Hector was on would be available still. No-one has any problem at all with financial prudence in this day and age, instead of waiting til the last minute until the lad arrived in the country and up in Dundalk if they were pulling the deal and reducing the budget they should have at least given the lad a phone call before he hopped on a plane and came over instead of a wasted trip that makes us out to be a pack of amateurs. According to Colm Crosson the deal was dependant on getting 30k owed off Setanta that still has yet to be paid. To put it simply the lad should have been notified and told the deal is dead before coming across, he even met the lads before the Drogheda game and everything.
As I said none of us have any problem with the club being run right and we fully support that, we still remember well the state the club was in before GM took over but they do themselves no favours at times; this, Dave Rogers, Lovely Lisa, Seanie Boy, the treatment of Giller when he was let go over the past few years as a few examples.
