Someone just posted on out forum that Conan Byrne is going to meet with Pete Mahon next week although Pete did say at the Patrons meeting on Wednesday night that we wont be signing anymore players, so we will have to just wait and see

Got the story tonight. Ezekiel was right. Pats offered Guthrie around trying to free up cash. Cork and Dundalk interested. Guthrie preferred Dundalk

Thanks be to god we didnt sign him, despite Fenlons efforts apparently. Seriously, more suited to Rovers.

The rumours that cropped up for Pats last night were Conan Byrne and Anto Murphy (for 3rd spell)

Murphy had agreed deal with Rovers but when Fingal lads became available Rovers took deal off the table.

Both would help us

Anto Murphy to us is looking like a done deal now, Happy with it if true, he is a good player and can play in so many positions and also gives us the option on a long throw, Would have preferred Conan Byrne tho

re: the fingla players to Bohs rumours, all ive heard was Finn and O'Neill (who is now at Rovers). Can people at least wait until we sign someone before getting all flustered?!
