On radio 1 last friday Tony Donohue was on about Alan Mannus possibly leaving shams to join a scottish club, any truth to it?

Heard that alright, Kilmarnock was it?

Plus, was it reported somewhere that he has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Rovers for free if a cross channel club came in for him?

Dunno about the clause in his contract but the couple of press reports I read said the club was St Johnstone

Joking or not, I can't wait.

By the way, did you mean eclectic or electric?

No money at Dundalk for new signings as per Ciaran Bond(board member) and the Dundalk Democrat!

Strong Rumours that James McClean is signing for West Ham/Reading with the Hammers most likely. Fee to be in the region of £500k.

Was looking on the West Ham forum and the way they just dismiss the LOI and it's players is shocking. No-one seems to recall the amount of players that have gone from LOI to Engerland/Scotland and made a pretty good impact.
Stephen Ward, Kevin Doyle, Brian Murphy, Daryl Murphy, Wes Hoolahan, Meyler, Long, Forde, Sammon, McCourt, McGinn, Keegan, Deegan and a good few more.

As much as I dont like the fella (from his celebration of a goal against us last season in the randywell), I reckon McClean is quality and will do well in Engerland if he goes.

Happens at every club in England Sam. Everyone of those players was dismissed when they went over first (shocking omission of Fahey too )

Looks a good player alright. Hope he does well

That's great money for an LOI club, and I think McClean could make a big impact in the UK, he's a cut above the rest of the league, technically speaking

Disappointed that we didn't hold onto Brushie. He's a great keeper and a good character.

Great deals gone through for Limerick, signing both Behan and Gamble. I hope they have top flight status when playing in the spiritual home of Limerick football.

    A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.
