It wasnt a tantrum! It was a mistake, a costly one mind. He has brought us alot of attention with over 100k hits on youtube so he has done something right.

Harps have 3 Ulster Senior League players in on trial for pre-season and are rumoured to be speaking to 2 well known senior players.
Our squad is looking stronger than last season already so here's hoping.

Heard rumours O'Grady was coming here as well. And Longford and Athlone. Adding 2 and 2 and getting 59429, I'd imagine he won't be with Sligo this comign season, and whatever club withing that circle offers him the best deal, he'll take.

Kelly isnt with anyone, I read during the week that he was released due to work commitments. What I dont understand is how are the northern clubs ablke to offer 2 and 3 year contracts? Their crowds are considerably lower than us and Id imagine our league gets better sponsorship!

In general the level of stability in the Irish League seems much better than in the league of Ireland. While you occasionally hear of clubs in trouble, it's not as regular as in our league.

According to Robbie it's just a publicity stunt, he's really holding out for a move to Wexford Youths (provided Mick Wallace signs over all his assets to him)

There has to be alot of backers with some of those clubs, I've heard of the likes of Glenavon paying up to a grand a week in part-time wages. I'm surprised not more LOI players are heading up there as the money is as good and there are still day jobs available in NI unlike here

in fairness isnt that the exact reason why tony grant and willo mcdonagh are playin for glenavon at present instead of down south..
