Two struggling sides failed to break each other down at the Brandywell on Saturday night, although Pats will probably be the more disappointed side after missing two late chances to take all three points.
The managerless Saints, led by veteran player Paul Osam and former assistant manager Martin Russell on this occasion, put in a positive performance, which put an end to a run of four straight Premier Division defeats.
