rovers home game (att. by Bray season ticket holders) against the bray reserves. Great!

added to the tickets sold to Rovers fans by Bray Wanderers and via ticketmaster.
You completely forgot you had tickets online?

As far as i know, the club took this game off sale from ticketmaster so no tickets were sold through them (well unless people bought them weeks ago)

We'll have a 1000 plus home supporters at the game, like we do at all big home games against the likes of Rovers, Bohs, Pats etc...

I wonder was temporary seating ever considered for this match like Rovers had for the Real Madrid game. They could be put behind the goal that is empty.

I thought the temp stand would have been a good idea myself, we had it in about 5/6 years ago for a Friendly game against Everton. The place looked great and added another 800/1000 to the attendance.

I'm not sure if this has been looked into but maybe Bray/Rovers/FAI should have got together about it seeing as this is the biggest game of the season, League title will be won our lost on Friday night, the game is on the box, they really should have went all out in making it look as good as possible, but as i've said im not sure if this option has been looked into already and dis-guarded due to safety concerns.

    Wanderers Team News

Bray Wandereres will be without four, and five others are doubtful for the clash with Shamrock Rovers on Friday night. Derek Prendergast (ankle), Sean Houston (thigh) and John Mulroy (hamstring), will all miss out, having failed to recover in time and Danny O'Connor serves a one match ban having reached four penalty points. There are doubts about Jake Kelly(hamstring), Dane Massey (shoulder), Chris Shields(knee), and Gary Shaw (hamstring), Pat Devlin will not make a decision on their fitness until Friday evening.

Speaking during the week, Director of Football at Bray Pat Devlin said that last Friday's game was a difficult one for Bray.He said, "It felt like we were in limbo and we didn't do well in the first half but I was glad with the improvement in the second. Then the score came in from Drogheda and we knew where we were, but on the night the better team won and they needed it more". Speaking about Friday night Devlin said "All we can do is put out strongest team available to us and do well for the Club and the League"

Great to get Danny's suspension out of the way with Tuesday in mind, not a chance I'd risk Jake or Chris again with Tuesday in mind.

    That's true

Don't worry about us though, no matter who plays will be giving 100% and going out to beat Rovers It's all about Rovers not bottling it on the night

I'm quite worried that these guys are still carrying knocks. In particular Jake i know he got a run last week but we need the lads at full fitness for the playoff, seem to have been injured for the last few weeks with out full recovery

Heard the forecast is for loads of rain this afternoon. I just hope it stays away from Bray as normally any sort of rain and the pitch caves in!

Fingers crossed it clears up a bit although it was bucketing down when i was leaving early this morning for work.

Interesting fact from RTE.ie about Bray v Rovers.... Shamrock Rovers are unbeaten in their last five visits to Bray in the league, but have they have also failed to score in five of their last six visits to the Carlisle Grounds in all competitions.

Yeah was in Bray this morning and it was bucketing down and the thought of previous games being called off due to the rain crossed my mind. I know it's a big if but how late would they leave it?? I suppose with it being the last game of the season they'd leave it as late as possible and Rovers not having far to travel as well.

Rovers should be well used to a drop of water on the pitch after Juventus! Might be colder water here though...

It's still ****ing it down, the only good thing is that it will most likely keep away a few of the scrouts who might have turned up outside for a bit of mischievous devilment...

I don't think a bit of rain will stop them if they've paid for their tickets.

I was thinking more of the extras that might turn up without a ticket and stand outside etc...

Anyway, the sun is out now and the rain has stopped (for the time being)
