    Shamrock Rovers 3-0 Shelbourne
Two stunning first half free kicks helped Liam Buckley’s Shamrock Rovers bring the unbeaten league start of defending champions Shelbourne to an unceremonious end at Richmond Park on Friday night.

Full back Stephen Gough and midfielder Keith O’Halloran were the deadball masters, netting a goal apiece in the space of 10 first half minutes to send the Reds into disarray.

    Great night for eL football.
Warm evening, perfect pitch, fierce atmosphere, three nice goals(although the first 2 will get the plaudits the last goal was the epitomy of how counter attacking should be,lovely move and quality finish[Bohs should have gone after Stephen instead of Tony methinks]) and a very decent standard. On top of that the result itself reopens the title race, another positive for the league.....
