Cheque has been cashed so either I receive them or the FAI pocket the cash. Think that comment regarding golfers earlier was a not directed at anyone in particular but was uncalled for either way.

I received 4 tickets this morning. Its a shame thses games are'nt taken into consideration when they are dishing tickets out for competitive games. Im still happy the tickets have arrived.

What seems to be taken into consideration for the big games is the name of your golf club.

Sorry petef...uncalled for again, I know.

They've put us in block 413 up behind the goals.

At least you've got one. My problem is that the FAI needs an overhaul of its tickteting policy for away games. A proper registration scheme - similar to the FA and SFA - where away tickets go firstly to those that go to the most away games. Putting the tickets in a dubious lottery for blockbookers or handing large amounts over to 'partners' is a joke. Also the number of tickets that supporters' clubs got was also insulting. In Basel I knew people who had been to the three other away games but couldn't even get a ticket off a tout. Anyway, rant over.
