...and I still feel victimised, I mean imagine denying me my right to make a complete tw*t of myself in public. Still I'm sure that I have made up for it on other occasions!

Not quite as much of a tw*t as I made of myself when I put on Take Pr*t in the car when you were up with me and Sylvo by the wall.

My bas.tard friends have just pulled out of our Amsterdam trip . They're (3) all going to the Romania game, but have decided that the 'Dam is a frontier too far. Well ****ed off now, have my tickets and flights booked already . Still determined to go in spite of the ****s, but badly in need of some drinking buddies to meet up with in the 'Dam now. Who's going from here?

Don't worry remember other things about that day

The performance of the ref at the Supporters Club game that day.
That it appeared like the huns supporters club had spent a life time putting too much starch in the right arms of their shell suits.
The tans getting stuffed at home by Denmark.
And finally a cabby who asked us how much we wanted to pay.

So all in all puting Take Tw*t on was a fairly minor indiscretion.

Sounds like everyones going, I'm sure we'll find out the recommended venues nearer the day. Anyone got their tickets yet from the FAI?

Nothing yet. To be fair though the deadline for postal applications was only last Friday.

I was just speaking with someone at the FAI ticket office trying to get a handle on numbers travelling to Amsterdam. I was delighted to hear that they have sold nearly 5000 tickets. I thought that we would have 2 or 3 thousand but 5,000 for a friendly is a very good turnout. They also confirmed what had been stated in an earlier post, that tickets would be sent out around the end of this week. This is going to be some craic.

I can't wait for this game as it's my first proper away game (apart from Glasgow and Wembley). I've got my ticket through the supporters club but was wondering if everyone that applied through the FAI is guaranteed a ticket as a few of my mates have applied this way.

Well telling the boys at the golf club that you were in Amsterdam for a meaningless friendly anyone could get a ticket to, doesn't measure up to being in Basel for the group decider, does it?

Who is this aimed at or is it just a genearl comment against people who go to friendlies or what is the point of the comment, Who is it a jibe at. I am not sure who it was aimed at.

Lad's he was not having a dig @ yerselves, just pointing out that when it come's to the big competative's match's a lot of ticket's seem to go to golf club's by the get up of a lot of the fan's who seem dreesed for the golf course and not football match's and give out about anyone who make's a sound around them while their having a sleep during the match.
Its crazy to see people be what society wants them to be but not me.

To be honest i did not think he was having a go at me, it was just not clear who it was aimed at exactly and i would agree that there is nothing worse than corporate fans going to matches and talking **** about no singing etc.

As Sylvo says, just a pop at the glory-hunters. And I'm not talking about people who can't afford to go to all games. I'm talking about the w*nkers who turn up for the big games with a ticket obtained through some multi-national while others who have been to all the previous away games are left outside. Hence loads of tickets. No offence meant to anyone here...for once!

RISSC in London MIGHT have some spares at this friday's meeting in McGoverns (think it is being renamed The Kilburn), Kilburn High Road this Friday at 8:30, although you need to sign up for membership.

More memorable for the cheerleaders along with Zac and Captain Doby's steaming the press box.
