But the whole conspiracy drivel Louth4Sam is spewing out here is ridiculous, as a team we hold possession, Dundalk cant deal with it and so make more rash tackles than usual and thus drawing more fouls than usual.
Our lads get their free kicks and Dundalk players get their yellows, our lads dont go out fo their way to get Dundalk booked but if they are victim to rash tackles they will get what they can from them.
Its smart football, not cheating, jesus christ build a bridge and get over it.
Someone could easily be on here bitching and moaning about your teams "cheating" over their over physical style or them rileing up Mc Cabe earlier in the season etc, its just different styles of football, none of it cheating as such.
What conspiracy have I mentioned??? The ref was just poor and made poor decisions could have easily happened the other way around. Some Sligo players go down very easy you mentioned as much with your "smart football". In fact reading your post we agree with almost everything so I really don't know what your argument is or why you felt the need to join the debate.

That's the attitude I'd have Dong if it was the other way around. I wouldn't care less if we got a soft peno and man sent off cheaply. I certainly wouldn't be on here trying to justify our win.

That I can agree with. The fact is that those decisions decided the game.

However, some Sligo fans cannot bring themselves to admit that the fortuitously won the game as a result of being the beneficiaries of two debateable decisions.

Your referance to "cheating", which was a bit low tbh.

Rovers fortuitously won the game as a result of being the beneficiaries of two debateable decisions.

1- They were peppered in the second half against Rovers and luck coupled with superb defending won them the 3 points.
2- Bohs v Pats - Never a penalty, Bennion saved it but it fell to Raf who smashed it in.
3- Rovers should have buried Fingal but ended up losing 2-1 with 2 crazy errors in the last few minutes.

Fair played to Bohs, they may have had the rub of the green of late but they have taken their chances.
They made a very valid point about this on Monday night, it was not a penalty IMO, We were also denied a peno against them for a much worse challenge a few days before hand which wold have handed us 3 points. Luck is certainly on Bohs side at the moment, instead of having 1 point they have 4 which has pushed them to the top of the table.

In saying that Rovers only have themselves to blame for extremely poor decision making all over the field.

My reference to "cheating" was a quote from a Sligo poster hence the quotations. I don't consider it cheating at all. Crappy when you're on the receiving end of it but Dundalk fans were not complaining when Melligan was at it during his spell with the club in the first half of the season.
