Hughes double downs Pats

Three goals in the final 12 minutes, including two from former St Patrick’s Athletic striker Philip Hughes, saw Premier Division bottom side Dublin City come from behind to inflict yet another home defeat on the Saints in the opening round of the League Cup at Richmond Park on Bank Holiday Monday night.

The Saints were taking their first steps on the road to defending the title they won against Longford Town last season.
