Kerry were quite awful to be honest. Mulconroy had a good game. Can't relly think of many more. Fraher got going once he got his goal. Kearney was good in the second half. Solid more than spectacular. George got a pointless yellow card for complaining at 3-0 up. Kerry gave the Gayest goalkeeper I have ever seen.

Nolan was my MOTM. Great 2 goals for him, esp the second at the death. Thought Guthrie was very poor, ditto K Murray. Behan did quite well, as did Lordan again.

Very comfortable win for the second string. Pity about the crowd. Only about 200-250 at best

Jamie Nolan played brilliant - my motm, and got a great goal to finish off his day which happened to be the last kick of the game. K Murray was shocking. I thought Kearney played poor aswell. Mucka had a good game as did Sweeney.

Against Douglas Hall and again last night, he was one of the worst players on the pitch. Absolutely shocking. Couldn't hold on to the ball, those aimless thumping free kicks, couldn't pass, missed a goal that a cranky oul cripple like me would have scored....
Not up to under-21 level even on this form.

i'd agree with pat here, thought behan was quite poor...he's touch was non existent.....

mucka and nolan did very well, lordan was solid as was byrne at full back...guthrie was poor again..real slow...kearney woke up in the 2nd half...KDL were weak tho....

Lads K. Murray didnt do much wrong last night. People should have an open mind before games and then judge on how he plays rather making up your mind before the game. Georgie Bashers Mark II

    Behan was poor last night.

    Nolan and Fraher looked good.
    Oh no not them again

Nolan nets twice as Cork stroll to win

Nolan nets twice as Cork stroll to win

    Cork City 4-0 Kerry League
Young striker Jamie Nolan – whose opportunities at Turners Cross have been severely limited this season – struck in either half as Cork City sauntered to a Bank Holiday win over the Kerry League representatives.

Nolan – accommodated on the right side of midfield on this occasion as manager Pat Dolan opted for two other youngsters, Ian Fraher and Denis Behan, up front – opened the scoring after seven minutes, getting on the end of a Behan pass to beat Dermot Dineen in the Kerry goal.

I thought Behan played well enough too. He did well holding the ball up and laying it off. Might not offer a threat, but he brought other players into the game. He's not half as bad as people think

Dont get me wrong, I think he's a great player just though that he should have bossed the game more against players who are not at his level. Same goes for Liam Kearney, although he came into it a bit more in the second half.
