If Palestine and Timor L'Este can field national teams, I reckon Ireland will be alright. Was that honestly a serious question?
I came on here today to ask: Would it be at all possible that Ireland would have to disband the senior team due to lack of finances? Sorry to ask, but I am curious what you all think. I didnt know where to post that and I didnt want to start a new thread and no offense intended the question. What prompted it was, I know someone who works at the United Nations, and we happened to have lunch today, and this person, Knowing I follow the team, posed it to me saying they had heard a conversation about it.
It was serious enough that I got a little sick over my ham and swiss.

What we all think is the obvious answer.Originally Posted by Crosby87

We play the global game instead.

Ah yes FF have started the quintennial or in this case quadrennial appointments to boards process. It must be nice. What a corrupt little rock we live on.
Interestingly FG called for a halt and the creation of an independent appointments board to stop this insanity, Gilmore rejected the notion out of hand. I fear maybe Gilmore is dying to get his greasy fingers into the pot. Aw poor little labour.

Don't get me wrong FG were as bad however, I'm dealing with "where we are".
Isn't that what we are told to do?
Haven't got the link to hand. Think it was on RTÉ this morning. Will link it when I get home.
