Trevor Anderson has tendered his resignation at Oriel Park in a move which prompted three board members to follow suit and hand in their cards.
The 3-1 defeat at Oriel Park to Galway United on Thursday night was a crushing blow for Anderson who has been known to be unhappy with his teams’ start to the campaign, despite the fact that they are just four points off the final playoff spot in the division.
