So what happens to those of us who bought a 'new' Ireland jersey with the 'old' logo on?
Actually, how can this work wouldn't they have to recall all the Ireland gear and replace it with new stock?

The new official FAI logo is set to be launched at the end of this month, at the same time that Irish Supporters Clubs in America will come on stream.
The Football Association of Ireland are to go on a new merchandising spree with a raft of new collectable items to go on sale. The new logo is expected to be launched before the game against Romania and should feature on the jerseys for that game.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

A nice earner for the FAI, I'm sure. Why bother changing the badge? There's no need to. I quite like the current one.
No need to change the crest. This will be the third change in less than 15 years, which is ridiculous.

I think the current crest is fairly naff. Crest change would explain why current jersey being sold at discount price.
