    iPhone Questions

I want to get my wife one for her birthday
She is currently on Tesco Mobile.

If I buy online at the Apple store for 499 for the 3GS 8GB and then get her a 3G simcard from Tesco mobile will this work?

Will I get the phone any cheaper elsewhere?

you can get the phone for free on a certain tariff with 3, it all depends on how much she spends a month, im assuming she is a pay as you go customer, so find out how much she spends on credit a month and go from there maybe?

Not sure about prices but if you buy it from the Apple store it will work with any 3G network

To get the best use of the iphone she'll probably need a data plan so check can Tesco provde one of these.

i got my girlfriend one with 3, its free online for an 18 month contract @ 95 a month which gives you unlimited calls and texts, plus a crazy amount of internet usage, she was able to keep her old number as well, despite rumours about network coverage it seems ok so far and once my o2 contract runs down next month ill be getting the same

    €95 a month! Jaysus.

My missus's plan (o2) is €40/month. Unlimited data, unlimited talk & texts to o2 customers. 150 texts and 150 minutes to all other networks (she uses 250 free webtexts via a couple of apps too)

I'd make sure you check out everything as regards the data package, let them know its for a smart phone and how it will fair out for phone, text and data.

Actually, forget the iPhone and just go with the HTC Desire HD out on Oct 12th .... unreal phone.

I second that .... Jebus H Crimbo, getting done there. You'd find it hard to get more expensive.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
