Insult to Byrne?

Brian Kerr called the guy into the squad and watched him first hand training with players from a higher level(much higher)..If Brian Kerr thought Byrne was ready and good enough he would have played him longer..in fairness its in Kerrs best interests also to play the BEST players..dont know why people are complaining because i am sure Jason Byrne must be delighted and fair dues to the guy for getting into the squad..

One more thing..Alan Lee must be the most average player i have seen in the Ireland squad for a bit..

.Isnt it a bit of an insult to Byrne to have brought him on in the 90th minute? I knew he was going to do that. It was a case of pretending to reward a LOI player? What good could he have done in injury time? It was a bit like Dolan last Friday night and we were all moaning then.

If i remember correctly the last time he brought on Crowe was in the 90th minute as well. I dont think then that Crowe even touched the ball.

All very superficial. Very Patronising and insulting to the league.
