I agree with you Bows. He's back (well almost). Those that idolise him: You've got what you wanted. For the rest of us that thought/think he's a ******: He's a distant footballer - he didn't bang up your daughter. Live with it! Time for yet ANOTHER locked thread, me thinks!

Well put Lopez. Would love to stick around and see further views on this thread but I'm off to start a debate on which came first, the chicken or the egg.

this is a quote from a book i'm reading called "red mist: roy keane and the football civil war "...as i've said before, great read...

there was an odd moment at a press conferance in Tehran..McCarthy was being quizzed about the forthcomming play-off secong leg.A local reporter raised a hesidant hand and askedif Mick could discuss wheather ot not his Englishness got in the way in ana irish dressing room.Slience. A few of the vistiting supporters shut their eyes and slunk into their chairs, waiting for the gunfire. After an age, during which Mick fixed the questioner with a contemptuous gaze, he said :

" say if your father left iran because he couldn't get work at home and he ended up going to englandwhere there was lots, and sayif your father had a son who grew up in england, speaking english with an english accent, now, does that mean the boy isn't entitled to call himself Iranian ??

make of that what you will.......

a few weeks ago i questioned a certain persons irish roots in a fit of rage and didn't feel the best for ti afterwards, as much as i don't like mick he is entitled to be proud of his family roots...

The Chicken. She was made to come first and did not come first of her own will, having been forced into it after being upset by that excuse of a cholestral filled, bowel jamming, foodstuff, the egg that had been irritating her ever since it got stuck up her ar*e!

So you actually believe that Roy Keane hates the English (eg. you). You are deluded.

Ahhhh! Carnstein finally bites! I was talking about your incessant fascination with Irish people born abroad as being boxed into the nationality of their place of birth, rather than media speculation about your hero's true feelings to the land he resides in. Why don't you take up a crash course in modern (ie. post 1801) Irish history? You might be enlightened!
