I'm a multimedia student in the WIT and I've sweet fanny all to do until januaray! My hope is to go into web design so as a bit of experience is there any clubs that would like a new design to their websites? I've looked through some of the clubs sites and I'd say I could do a much better job then the likes of Bray, Longford or Wexford! As it's for experience and my portfolio it would be done for cheap enough! PM if interested!
I'm sure you could do a better one than ours, the problem is we have hardly any content to put on it any more! And our man at the helm clearly doesn't care much for sharing out news about the club...
Surely ye would have just as much content as any other team? Transfers, match reports, fixtures etc! Club info, squad, lotto, I could work closely with anyone interested in updating the sure by showing them the INS and ours of how to! Not as difficult as it looks
you'd be best contacting the clubs directly?!
Nah we aren't told about Transfers in or out ever really..If a player doesn't start one week you just wait and see if he's ever back. And I can't think of a single time I've heard about a transfer in before his first game! The single bit of official information we get is that "Mick's View", which is frequently quite cryptic as you can see!
Could somebody pass on club emails of any clubs that would need/want a new site done please.
What the league really needs is an IPhone/IPod/IPad/IBag app.
oh boy I'm not good at football forums
I could try do one if them aswel! I'd firstly try do one for a club just to start off before I'd do a national one
Maybe you should get in touch with extratime.ie or the fai for help with such an app?

Hi Frosty,
Just so you know, the LOI club website are not actually that bad over the last few years but junior clubs in Ireland are generally in a very bad state with some clubs having absolutely zero info online. It would definitely be a very good idea to go down this route because you will most definitely not be short of offers from clubs.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
