The Railway Procurement Agency is looking for suggestions for naming the LUAS bridge at Dundrum.
How about a hero of UCD? The Doc springs to mind as a serious enough suggestion, although Swanninho might be an outside bet if his other clubs could get on board!
The deadline is Friday April 30th.
Entries can be mailed to "BRidge Name SUggestion", RPA, PArkgate Business Centre, Parkgate St., Dublin 8.
Or emailed to info@luas.ie - fullname, address and phone no. with each entry.
And a spiel about why you think this name should be adopted.
Apparently "the name to be adopted wil be selected on the basis of merit rather than by the relative number of persons supporting the suggestion."

I had a similar thought myself, although I was going to suggest STIG bridge! Swaninho probably has a better chance though.
