passandmove you must fancy your chances of progressing in the munster junior now that ye are out of town.Handy enough away draw in Clare.I heard ye lost a midfielder in the last few weeks to Pike.

Ya its good to get a run in the cup competitions but promotion remains our main objective anything else would be a bonus.I havent heard anything about any of our players leaving so i dont think that rumour is true saggy balls.

Rock play out off Lees Road. Its on the drumcliffe road, if you ask anybody when you get to ennis they will give you directions. Trained there on tuesday night and the pitches were beginning to waterlog so think it might not be going ahead if it continues to rain

Pike Rvs vs Rock Rvs is called off because pitch is unplayable and they won't travel in and play up in the Pike Field, what a pack of ****** the told the fixture secretary of Clare at 3 and Pike only got a call form Limerick fixture secretary at 8.

Are you calling rock rovers muppets or is it the secretary. If it's rock your being fair harsh if the shoe was on the other foot I couldn't see pike giving up home advantage

They have lost home advantage and they refused to travel in and the Clare fixture secretary for not telling the Limerick fixture secretary earlier than 7.30!

    Newmarket 0 - 1 Avenue Utd (AET)

Yes Avenue gave up home advantage in this one as the pitches in lees road were waterlogged. Newmarkets pitch was in great nick.

Tough game considering we played with 10 men for a long period in the game before newmarket were then reduced to 10. Gary Flynn with the winner today...making a habit of scoring against newmarket these days. St Michaels away next week I think

    clonmel 3 carew park 1

a game left behind by carew who missed two open goals in the last 10mins to put clonmel away carew went 1up through a free kick from pa boyle on 40mins clonmel levelled 30 secs later with a cracking header 1-1 at the break. even game 20mins into the second half then carew upped it a gear and took control of the game and went for the winner and had the chances to put clonmel away 1-1 90mins. into extra time even game 8min into extra time denis wheelan wins the ball in the box clonmel player took a dive ref could not wait to give the pen a disgraceful call carew ran themselves to a stand still and to be done by something like that was wrong but as everybody knows you always play again 12 men away from home in these comps like on 75mins when the clonmel player thrown a punch at a carew player ref did not see it linesman did 5 yrds from him flagged called the ref over and gave him a yellow card 5mins later same player through the back of pa boyle and got nothing unreal. caught for the 3rd on full time on the break. over all 7 of starting 11 under 24 yrs of age first time out of time for a few were outstanding again a team like clonmel

Town were very flat yesterday, particularly in the second half- just hoping it was down to rustiness as a result of the forced winter break. Yes Carew had chances to win it towards the end of normal time and tbh we couldnt have complained if they had. This 4-5-1 formation doesnt suit us - the sooner we revert to a 4-4-2 the better. The penalty was stonewall, the defender clipped Scullys heels running through. Genuinely didnt see any punch thrown but if he did then he should have gotten the line. Big improvement needed for the rest of the season. On the plus side good to see David McGrath back in a town shirt- he led the line well even if he was isolated too often. Carew had a decent young side so best of luck for the rest of the season.

Why were Town so negative when they have so many good attacking players,it was suicidal and almost cost them,if they went 4-4-2 and matched up any team and said were better than you and had a right go i think they could be big contenders but as you said the 4-5-1 did not suit them and for my money it was a penalty, was a clumsy challenge
