great 1st post ham and cheesy, game aint on till sunday week though. saints are out in munster junior cup this weekend. every team in last 16 should be treated with respect and saints will give wicklow rovers the upmost respect. so i wouldnt expect to head down to tipp and catch michaels off guard
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!

They seem to have come out of nowhere, they have never reached this stage of the FAI Junior and face St. Micheals in the last 16 of the FAI Junior and from what ive heard they are in the last 8 of the Leinster Junior cup and havnt been beaten in their last 15 games, is there any truth in this?

St. Micheals have them on their own patch and it is on a Sunday I believe, they might think this is an advantage to them as Wicklow play on a Saturday but they might have a tougher task on their hands than first expected?

If theres any shocks going to happen in the last 16, this is where its most likely to happen!
We ( Coachford in Cork ) played Wicklow in Round 6 and they are a decent outfit, love to play ball. Not the biggest team, but if Michaels have a big pitch, they ll use every inch of it. They are on a great run and have handed out a hammering to Tolka from Dublin in the LJC. Two good central midfielders and 2 lads up top that ll cause plenty of problems, have a few lads who have played LOI. Would nt be shocked if they came through but Michaels at home would be a handful i ld imagine.

anyone have any info on st michaels, we have heard they have a good winger and 2 good centre halves, will be tough over there but anything is possible, 66/1 might not look a bad bet if we get past them!!

How can you say Wicklow Rovers have come out of nowhere? They have got to the seventh round of the F.A.I. Junior Cup.

2 very good center halves and an all round very good back 4. Very tough to get past.
In midfield, they may be a bit suspect, the winger is probly the biggest threat but i wouldnt be too worried about them here. Also up front, they are decent but seem to be struggling for goals at times. (set pieces could be michaels biggest threat)
I would give ye every chance if ye are a good side.
Ye will have the best of facilities available anyway, lovely pitch and dressing rooms.

Yes I think this is going to be a cracker of a match, will definitely get down to this one! Sunday week, I think it has been confirmed for ?

Their left back, one of their centre mids and both their strikers from what I've heard ?? Does that sound about right "Inswinger"? The dual between the Irish amateur centre back pairing of St. Micheal's and the Wicklow Rovers strikers should be tasty and could prove vital in this one by the sounds of it!

Going to be controversial here and call an away win...

    St. Micheal's 0-1 Wicklow Rovers

A good defending performance by kilmallock against pike.Penalty given, pelenty not given. At the end of the day,a result is a result. JOB DONE. It might be huffing and puffing but there is still no sign of that old PIKE EXPRESS train stopping.
