Serious blow for City, Conor is great mid-field and we'll really miss him there. We seriously need the points as well.
Conor O'GRady will serve a one match suspension, starting on November 14th, for accumulating disciplinary points. He is now due to miss the trip to Shelbourne.

Thats a shame. For me he's been the key to City's midfield this year. At least Flanagan is a solid performer there, with Bucks on the wing.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
A big blow, Conor has been very effective this season. We'll really miss him for that game. I think a lot of people don't appreciate ust how hard he works and how important he is. A very good signing.
The most impressive thing to me about O'Grady is his will to win. To see his disapponitment at conceding the late equaliser to bohs the other week told a lot about his character.
Hes been a superb signing & credit to Gunther for getting him. He looks like hes been playing for city for years & reminds me of the consistency of Gareth Cronin. A future captain of City for sure if we can hold onto him.
yea if he's still here in 10 years when deccie finally retires Conor will make a great captainOriginally posted by pete

Thats a bit of a bummer. Its now though that we will come to realise how limited our 1st team squad is! However, Between Flanaghan, Bucks and Bennet we are sorted in the middle of the park. Hate to see what would happen if we had a few injuries though.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
Spot on. We have a strong enough (if slightly limited) first team, but after that we've a very weak squad. We need reinforcements if we're really going to challenge for honours.Originally posted by GWA
