Cant get over that, Roscommon town are going well in the league and look like they wont be far off challenging for honours come the end of the season.

Are Mayo in the Oscar next weekend??

I hope you've sent someone from clew bay on the fas course in time for the premier division this year....
the clew bay pitch surface is better now than it was back when you last visited we know its not the best surface in mayo but is far from the worst. as i have said before pixie hop on your bike and head out and look. we have not had any complaints from any visiting teams but if anyone here wants to comment on our pitch apart from pixie he has commented enough for now!!!!!

They play in Kevinsfort, about 1/2 mile past the Showgrounds. I take it you are involved with Ballinasloe Badker? Great win in Cork in the Junior Cup yesterday!!

Played Clew Bay United fairly recently and have to say the pitch wasn't in bad order at all. Far from the worst i have seen in recent years.

Thanks Longshanks. Astroturf pitch down there takes a while to get used to. It should not be allowed in FAI Junior cup imo. Lots of sore ankles and a few fairly bad cuts.

Whats Quaysides pitch like and facilities?

Pitch is decent, very open tho, in the middle of a big park. facilities non-existant i'm fraid. They are an unpredictable team, on they're day they are very capable with some quality players.

Would hope so. A shower after a game is fairly basic before a few pints!

tie of the 3rd round still has to be played, Castlerea Celtic v Ballina Town. Mayo league in Oscar Traynor action this week and Ballina have a 5th round FAI game to play in Clare yet. When will they squeeze in the Connacht Cup game??

tie of the 4th round has to be Athenry v Mervue

Have to agree Longshanks. 2 good games. kind of hoping they are fixed sometime we aren't playing so i can get down to watch them. If i hear anything about fixtures i'll let you know. Castlerea have floodlights so no reason a midweek game couldn't be arranged.
