he went on to say that paul cook has be good the transfer side of things, as has Ian Foster.

I reckon the FAI have to look into O'Neill

I'd imagine it would have to be one of the full-time or almost full-time teams, alright. Unless it's from abroad, though that's less likely.

And that precludes Kenna from signing for someone else?

How long is Kenna's contract with Pats? If he's on a one year deal he'd be entitled to talk to whoever he likes in the last 6 months of it. Same goes for any other player, considering an awful lot of players are only on one year deals in the current climate there may not be a whole lot wrong.

More silly whingin' and bitchin' from Mahon. If any of these players are out of contract at the end of this season, then he is talking sh1te again.

Also he mentioned the plural of manager, so speculation singling out MON is very petty.

Any club that has a good season as Pats have had will have other clubs sniffing around their soon to be out of contract players, so Pete either deal with it or enjoy your retirement!

Re Kenna, I think Id prefer to instead see Gunter back in the Hoops again

I think players are entitled to talk to other clubs in the last six months of their contracts, but their current clubs have to be informed.

Well obviously someone informed Mahon. Maybe it was the doctor with the good eyesight.

When did he talk 'Sh1te' in the first place??

Kenna is the best defender in the league
    Here on a technicality.

Come on.We all have blind faith in our own respective employees but Pete Mahon is top ot the league when it comes to whinging and moaning and generally throwing his toys out of the pram-Not just with Pats-He was argueably worse when he was with UCD,not doing interviews for TV3 iirc.
Noteable mention for Ian Foster aswell, snipping at PM's heels

Its in the pats programme. Won't really find a link. The Pats forum is www.saintsforum.net (registration required)

Anyway, the semantics of whether players were tapped up or approached isn't worth arguing. Mahon doesn't like when opposition managers contact his players directly rather than contacting him. Whether the opposition manager is legally entitled to talk to him or not is immaterial. I'm happy mahon takes the high road on certain issues, and if it means we don't get 1 or 2 players then so be it

I also think its hilarious to see Roves fans so quick to defend O'Neill (while still maintaining it mightn't be him) after their consistent moaning about Fenlon doing the exact same thing over the past 3/4 years.

And there's no doubt there's more them those 2 at it.

Thats just not true at all this season, He hanst bitched and moaned at all, He is very complimentary about others teams and managers when they have beaten us this season, Definitly wouldnt be up there with Foster O'Neill and Fenlon when it comes to complaining
    Here on a technicality.
