I thought the next bit of work were seats on the grass bank, behind St Annes end .... not certain though !!
Can anyone confirm the following....
- Floodlights due before u-21 in february or march? versus Denmark?
- Floodlight being borrowed from Bishopstown?
- When is tv gantry for Donnie Forde stand due?
Anything else due?

floodlights being moved from bishopstown in time for the u-21 match which is on in late march I think.
don't know about the tv gantry.
When we get the lights will we move to Friday nights? There was a piece by Roy Dooney (League Comm.) in the programme which said that FAI would prefer all games to be played on the same day/night and at the same time.
When the new season starts at the beginning of June 2002 I'd imagine a lot of City games will be Friday/Saturday night due to clash with GAA games on Sundays.
U-21 is due to be a night game. Planning for the TV gantry was posted almost a year if not more - surely some ****** didn't object (very unlikely). I hope it's sorted soon cos I can't see RTE covering a live match until its FULLY constructed.
Effenberg played like my grandmother!
Don't know why they didn;'t try to put the tv gantry on the Derrynane Road side? Just sit it on top of the walkway behind the covered seats there?
That would be great to be honest, to see the stand all the time instead of the Derrynane road, it really looks "two bit" on the telly. Will we ever see the stand continue around the corner by the club shop and over to Derrynane road side (yes that means the shed)
Well you can't blame RTE for not wanting to use the make shift construction that was there before the covering of the Derrynane Road side. It looked well dodgy. The press box is one of the best around and the tv gantry would take another reason from RTE why they can't show games from the Cross...
