    John Sherlock RIP

    The Death has occured of Mr John John Sherlock following a traffic accident on Sunday morning. He was recently elected as Vice President of the FAI Junior Council, and he also held the office of secretary in the Roscommon and District league.

    I knew him from my nine month stint in roscommon. he's was always passionate, always respectful and always a gentlemen in his pursuit of securing a better reputation for junior football in roscommon. RIP.

    Sad to hear yesterday the passing of John would have had good memorys of him. May he rest in peace

    Unhappy

    Find it hard to believe the awful news I was told last night.

    I knew John from my fathers involvement in the Roscommon County setup and from Lough Harps.

    He was a great man and his passion for the league was immense. Football in this country has lost a great servant.


    RIP John.
    Roddy Collins, the biggest <insert as appropiate> in Irish Football.

    Dealt with John on a couple of occasions and found him very pleasant and helpful. Sad news for all in the Roscommon league. RIP

    deepest sympathies to all his family and friends from west united football club he was always a gent in any dealings we as a club had with him and he'll be a huge loss to roscommon soccer!
    if u got no socks,u can't pull them up!
