Don't know if this is happening to anyone else but whenever I try to open a page or thread on the board I get messages in my status bat that it's trying to connect to alhkfc.org. It's a Japanese Avril Lavigne fan site, so no idea why, does someone have an avatar hosted on it, or any of the icons hosted there? It just keeps connecting and sending requests, over and over. I usually have to stop it and click the link again 3 or 4 times before the page eventually opens. I'm using Opera instead of Internet Explorer, so it's not spyware, and i'm virus free. What's going on?

There are no externally hosted avatars, sigimages or icons on Foot.ie.

I used to use Opera and I'd still get the occasional bit of spyware (albeit nothing like what I used to get with IE) so you might want to check that out. I switched to Firefox and I get almost none now.
