    Ref Watch

Come on lads this thread has LEGS!!

Tonight in Terryland Graham Kelly awarded a free kick for a foul that had taken place at least two feet inside the box.

Then right on full time, one of the worst tackles I've seen in years, a horrible, two footed, cowardly lunge by one of the anonymus Mervue hachetmen. The refs decision - A throw in.

For this "performance" that "man" "earned" more than any of the players on the pitch.

All the refs in this league are class. I love when they screw over my team when they don't give a penalty or send my teams man off for no reason.

Graham "peno" Kelly had yet again a crap game tonight. First he ****ed up on not awarding a pen for a clear foul inside the mervue box, then guilty of that **** up he awarded limerick a peno for a nothing shoulder. The cowardly tackle was the worst tackle of many by mervue players on the night and how the aggressor got away with being awarded a touch beggers belief.

My top three worst refs in the first division are as follows

1 Phil Cashchera. Get the hint, years of arseing around in the first div, u aint gonna get a prem gig so f uck off!

2 Graham "peno"Kelly. Damning match assessments go to.....his dad! nuff said

3 Stuart (i will travel 500 miles for expenses) Templeman. This dunnes stores "middle" manager, loses control of games he refs the min he blows his whistle. Has no respect from the players and wonders around looking frightened of howling fans

I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.

the ref in bray had to one of the worse i have seen, complete one sided in my opinion. could have 1 or 2 pens, he gave corner and a free out.

another incident danny north clearly won the ball infront of the lino, ref gave a free out, bray scored.

lino's are even worse than refs no f**kin backbone.

He was shcoking alright, One on the Bray defenders went right threw the back of Danny North and he somehow ended up giving a free out

It was Doyle from Knocklyon, His dad is a Rovers member I believe
    Here on a technicality.

Lets not forget Kelly ignoring the lino flagging for a pen booking the Limerick player for diving refuses to look at the lino when Limerick players ask him, then lino runs onto pitch and tells him he flagged in front of the Limerick players so he is forced to change his mind takes back the yellow and sends off the Mervue defender.

your joking right??? every 50/50 decision went pats way! everytime a bray player went up for a header with a pats player it was a free kick for pats! i didnt see the penalty incidents so dont want to comment.

    sour grapes maybe? :P

Theres no maybe about it ! They forgot to mention Dave Mulcahy lashing and kicking out at Prendergast, he should have been sent off for it. Or at least 2 Pats players being 5 yards off side for their 2nd goal.

no sour grapes, i think bray deserved to win the game, pats were ****e but those decision were crucial. bray first goal, blatant push in the back on conor kenna, no free given, bray scored, 3rd bray goal, foul on north in front of lino, free out given, bray scored.

how can you explain derek doyle yellow card when him and dempsey went in for a 50/50???

Doyle and Buttimer are the worst ive seen. I asked the fai official at one of our games who the ref was and he said it was Buttimer, i said that i should have known seeing the shocker he was having and the Fai chap laughed .

Thought there was more than 2 myself. Same linesman that missed North being poleaxed (which led to Bray's 2nd).

Definitely not sour grapes as Bray got the result they deserved but Doyle and the lino on our side were absymal. As your own posts have backed up

You will have no complaints from me saying the standard of reffering in this country is absolutely absymal at all levels but in relation to the game i don't think he was worse for any side.

If i'm thinking about the same tackle on North then Prendergast got the ball 1st and his momentum carried him through and he clattered into North. Can't remember North being clattered any other time
