...but he has changed association. You can only do that once.
Wonder if Le Vine will try and get Martinez to turn Ciaran Clark as he hasn't played a competitve game for us yet.
...but he has changed association. You can only do that once.
He is staying at Wigan anyway. Fair play to him. I have good time for him anyway regardless of the McCarthy saga. A little bit embarrassing for Villa!
And where is Hughes in all this? Didn't he resign from Fulham with a view to being employed by Villa? What happened there I wonder.
Also a lot of paper talk about the Arsenal team breaking up and losing its top players.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Apparently there are at least 8 players who have played Premiership matches for both Arsenal and Man City, can you name them?
Hint: there are a few ones who have played for both but moved before the 1st premier league season
jezus i can think of three readily cfdh but am hopeless at this type of thing. old fart, etc.
otherwise, generally, as a united follyer: officially in for modric now? i hope to be wrong but i think he's wayyyy too easily bullied off the ball. Real absolutely reamed him in the bernabeu and the only noticeable thing he did was lose the ball often, and then being completely unable to win it back (yes, crouch's red etc. but you have to be strong in england). i think i actually saw him physically gulp during the camera panning line-ups/uefa anthem thing. obviously a young enough fella who's very, very talented but united need a hargreaves, sadly. a simple yet skillful ball winner/playmaker who can strike a dead ball and allow others to flourish. they needed the essien of old i suppose. mikel, who they were in for, has turned into a totem pole except he's absolutely devoid of any mystical presence. i get the feeling if they buy modric they'll still need a water carrier. and if they get a water carrier, they'll still need a modric. what a f*cking mess.
i am thoroughly prepared for this post to resurface and humilate me in 10 month's time.
zombie/thread killer..
there's another frenchman i was thinking of gents.

I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?
"No, I drink to help me mind my own business....can I get you one? (c) Ronnie Drew
I don't think Taylor has played a league game for City - not 100% sure on this but think he's just played cup games. If he has played a league game then he's number 9.
The others are all correct:
1. Kolo Toure
2. Patrick Vieira
3. David Seaman
4. Nicolas Anelka (usually a good bet for any of these questions)
5. ?
6. ?
7. ?
8. ?
All of the missing have played international football, two of the missing players have gone to a World Cup, one has won the Champions League.
Also one of the players I'm not 100% sure fits the has played for both in the Premier League but def. fits has played at least 1 league game for both since 1992
Yeah Quinn left Arsenal before the premiership started, think he left them in 1990, same with Rocastle.
In terms of Quinn, there is a sort-of-clue there, Quinn wasnt at either World Cup those two players were at.
adebayor hasn't played at world cup i don't think, sylvinho has the champo medal with barca.
so the 2 players left have played at either world cup 94,98,06, or 10.
ehhhhhhhhh .....
Adebayor played at the '06 World Cup.
Eddie McGoldrick?
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"
Adebayor [WC 06], Sylvinho [no WC] and McGoldrick [WC 94] are all correct.
McGoldrick was the one I wasn't 100% sure had played a league game for Man City in the PL, I think his may have all been Division One (current Championship) at City.
Just missing one now, he hasnt gone to a World Cup.
paul dickov
correct, that's all of them!
can you name 3 scousers who have played in premier league winning teams?
