Man City spend an absolute fortune on players and yet if they were playing in a field down the road, I wouldn't go and watch them. The biggest interest is down at the bottom where about 10 teams are in the mix. My main interest there is for Wolves to avoid the drop with the Irish players and Big Mick.
Roy's on the job so it will be alright! We have Poulson and Konchesky in already! LOL

I've been laughing for quite a while....Torres being rested in an important PL match so he'd be fresh for Reading in the Carling Cup, Robbie Keane getting the door as N'Gog was clearly enough back up to the ever fit Torres, Alonso being hounded out for the far superior Garreth Barry, Lucas taking over as the midfield general, Glenn Johnson being signed for 17m but it's ok because they owe us a few quid for Crouch, kicking on from a 2nd placed finish to losing 19 games in all competetions the following season, getting completely outplayed twice and ultimately losing to Championship strugglers in the FA Cup 3rd Round, etc, etc, etc....

Hodgson has done nothing to improve the situation, but he didn't cause it.

Peter Grant saying that any deal for Robbie Keane is a long way off. Hope it goes through as it would be a good move for both the player and the club.

Apparently Fulham are now showing an interest in Robbie K.

Yes heard this on the radio this morning. Might suit him staying in London and linking up with Duff and Kelly.

Second comings seldom work out. Early days for "King Kenny" but silk purse and sow's ear come to mind but we shall see.

I am amazed that anyone should be surprised by Diouf's (or Dioufie as Allardyce used to call him!!) reaction to the QPR player's broken leg. One look at his face and his general demeanor would confirm that he is a candidate for such behaviour, not that I am judgemental or anything like that.

I am slightly surprised though at the media laughing at the new owners of Blackburn and their chicken business. I have a feeling there is a hint of racism in it for what about the West Ham (former Birmingham owners) who made their living on porno and lingerie? No jokes about them.

Yes will be interesting to see how Kenny gets on. Hopefully he can keep us up and then see what the summer brings! LOL

As for Diouf i wouldn't normally agree with Neil Warnock but on this occasion!

No sign of the Liverpool revolution as yet. A home draw against a mediocre Everton.

As for Spurs vs Man U, a "game that everyone - I mean everyone - in the country will be watching" according to Andy Gray. I watched it in between flicking to watch Toulon vs Munster and the highlights of Australia vs England one day match. If everyone was watching it, why didn't they close down the other 4 or so Sky Channels? It looked a pretty average affair with lots of hustle and bustle but not much quality in the final quarter. Where is John O'Shea these days ?

It's the over inflation of English internationals syndrome (e.g. Glen Johnson)

He was the worst Pool manager since Michael Barrymore.
